Gratitude for Life

I have a new friend Jayne...an 18 yr old girl who is waiting for a liver transplant. She was put on the transplant wait list 6 months ago at Children's Hospital. She is very sick, though has registered for spring semester at College of DuPage =)

I don't know why I didn't need to suffer long on the list...and others so young...have such a difficult life, and long wait. God works in mysterious ways. I feel truly blessed this Thanksgiving; as just 2 short years ago; I was just returning home from the transplant center today, feeling like hell...but happy to be alive Today, I am still feeling happy for life...and family.
